FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

First Baptist Church of Salado (FBC Salado) is a great and thriving congregation in Central Texas, with a campus that has grown over many years. Church leadership partnered with MWTA and VBC to develop a comprehensive campus Master Plan that would guide the site's growth in a unified and intentional direction.

The campus presented a unique challenge: multiple building expansions over time had resulted in varying elevations, floor levels, and architectural styles across the site. Our team carefully navigated these existing conditions, working through differences in grade, structure, and design to create a cohesive Master Plan that ties the campus together both functionally and aesthetically, while honoring the character of the existing buildings.

The initial phase of work, as identified in the Master Plan, will focus on three key priorities: a new main entrance to strengthen wayfinding and first impressions for guests, a remodel of the children's ministry space to better serve growing families, and an updated fellowship hall to expand capacity for community gatherings and events. Together, these projects lay the foundation for future phases of the Master Plan and position FBC Salado to continue growing its ministry impact across Central Texas.
